Many store owners want to include downloadable resources—spec sheets, manuals, forms, or guides—inside their blog posts. WordPress makes this easy once you know where to click. Here’s a quick step-by-step guide.
1. Upload Your PDF
In your WordPress dashboard, go to Media → Add New.
Upload your PDF file.
After it uploads, click the file and copy the File URL shown on the right.
This is the direct link your button will use.
2. Add a Button to Your Blog Post
Open the blog post you’re editing.
Click the + icon to add a block.
Search for Button and select it.
Type the button label, such as Download PDF.
3. Link the Button to Your PDF
Click the button to select it.
Choose the Link option (the chain icon).
Paste the PDF URL you copied earlier.
Press Enter to save the link.
4. Save Your Changes
Click Update (or Publish) to make the button live. Visitors can now click the button and download the PDF instantly.
